The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) was established by communications in 1934. It is an independent agency of the U.S. government and directly responsible to Congress. The FCC coordinates domestic and international communications by controlling radio, television, telecommunications, satellites and cables. The FCC Office of engineering and technology is responsible for the technical support of the Committee as well as the equipment accreditation matters in order to ensure the safety of radio and wire communication products related to life and property, involving more than 50 states, Colombia and the United States. Many radio application products, communication products and digital products require FCC approval to enter the U.S. market. The FCC Committee investigates and studies the various stages of product safety to find out a good solution to the problem. At the same time, FCC also includes the detection of radio devices and aircraft.

According to the relevant parts of the federal communication regulations (CFR Part 47), all electronic products entering the United States need to be certified for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) (except for products specified in some relevant provisions). There are three common certification methods: certification, DOC and verification. There are great differences in the certification methods and procedures of the three products. There are relevant provisions in the FCC on the optional certification methods for different products. The strictness of its certification is decreasing. For these three kinds of certification, FCC committee also has relevant requirements for each laboratory.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) -- regulates the import and use of radio frequency devices, including computers, fax machines, electronic devices, radio reception and transmission equipment, radio remote control toys, telephones, personal computers, and other products that may harm personal safety. If these products are to be exported to the United States, they must be tested and approved by government authorized laboratories in accordance with FCC technical standards. Importers and customs agents are required to declare that each radio frequency device complies with FCC standards, that is, FCC license.
