China SRRC certification

Date of issue:2020-05-13

SRRC is the State Radio Regulatory Commission of the people's Republic of China

SRMC certification (also known as SRRC certification)

Since June 1, 1999, China's Ministry of information industry (MII) has imposed that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain radio type approval certification.

The China National Radio Monitoring Center (State Radio Monitoring Center, SRMC), formerly known as the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC), is the only Chinese mainland authorized testing and certification authority for radio type approval. At present, China has established special frequency ranges for different types of radio transmitting equipment, and not all frequencies can be used legally in China. In other words, all radio transmitting equipment sold or used in its territory will have different frequencies. In addition, the applicant must pay attention to the specified scope of certain radio transmitting equipment, not only to apply for "radio type approval certification", but also to apply for China Compulsory Certification (CCC) and / or network access license (MII).

The national radio monitoring center is a public institution directly under the Ministry of information industry of the people's Republic of China. It mainly undertakes radio monitoring and radio spectrum management, and is the supporting organization of China's radio management.

The center consists of 10 departments, 1 national monitoring station, 8 National shortwave / satellite monitoring stations, 1 ultrashort wave monitoring station and 1 data backup center. At present, there are 152 staff, including 117 in Beijing and 35 outside Beijing. There are 119 with bachelor degree or above, accounting for 79% of the total number of employees. Among them, there are 96 with intermediate or above titles, accounting for 63% of the total number of employees.

The center has always been at the forefront of China's radio monitoring work. It has accomplished daily monitoring, equipment testing, spectrum research and other work. It has made great achievements in many major monitoring tasks, such as protecting the dedicated spectrum for civil aviation navigation and ensuring the safety of radio information during major national activities. It has played an irreplaceable role in the national radio management.

In recent years, the center has continuously strengthened the construction of talent team and technical facilities, which has effectively promoted the modernization and scientization of radio management. At present, the national radio management information network has been basically completed, and the national radio short wave monitoring network and the national radio satellite monitoring network have also begun to take shape. At present, the center is committed to comprehensively improving the supporting capacity of radio management and making new contributions to the healthy development of China's Radio industry.
