TCO certification is a display certification standard promoted by the Swedish Federation of Professional Employees (TCO). To pass this certification standard proposed by the Swedish Labor Union.
Today, the life span of most IT products is too short. Acquiring, manufacturing, using, and disposing models lead to overuse of limited natural resources and huge e-waste problems. In a circular economy, resources are handled in a more responsible manner. The purpose is to extend the life of the product and recycle all materials without any waste. TCO certification supports the circular economy by requiring products to be durable, repairable, upgradeable and recyclable.

TCO certification is mainly carried out in four steps, the steps are as follows:
一.、PREPARE
1. Confirm product standards and verification methods
2. Sign an agreement with TCO Development before initial client certification
二、TEST AND VERIFY
1. Send the prototype to an accredited laboratory for testing (in accordance with energy efficiency, radiation, and visual ergonomics requirements)
2. Provide environmental documents, provide supporting management system and procedure documents
3. The factory provides occupational health and safety management systems, such as: SA8000, ISO45001, ISO14001, etc.
4. The factory accepts corporate social responsibility audits and issues a social responsibility report
5. The factory provides TCO-CEPN Process Chemical Date Template
6. Obtain Verification of Conformity (VOC)
三、Provide all the documents of 1 and 2 to apply for TCO for review
四、The certificate will be issued after the audit, which can be queried in the database. The query results are as follows:
